how long have you been a wedding photographer?
2017 will be my sixth wedding season!
are you a full-time photographer?
Yes! I also work part time as a School and Student Support Worker for the Vancouver School Board. I work in a classroom with primary aged kids with autism and feel so fortunate to have two jobs that I love waking up to every morning!
what kind of camera do you use?
I shoot with Nikon D750 and D800 DSLRs.
will our photos be edited?
Totally! I don’t deliver unedited files to my clients.
how many photos will we get?
I guarantee 50 photos per hour of photography coverage. I typically deliver about 600 photos for an 8 hour wedding.
we need _ hours of coverage. can you do that?

do we need a second shooter?
You really do! Your wedding day is far too important to me to not be able to be in two places at once – having the second angle really helps in telling your complete story. My second shooters are talented wedding photographers themselves and are also a lot of fun to have around!
what is a model release?
A model release is a contract consenting to the use of your images in my portfolio and advertising material.
when is our retainer due?
The 50% retainer due at time of booking to reserve your date.
when is our balance due?
Your remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your wedding day.
can we use our engagement photos for…?
Absolutely! You are free to do whatever you would like with the images from your engagement session.
how long do we need for portraits?
I recommend one hour for portraits. Plan for additional time for travel as well as if you have a large wedding party.
how long do we need for family portraits?
I recommend allotting three minutes per family grouping. Also, if you could nominate someone to be the designated family-wrangler, that would be awesome!
what is your cancellation policy?
In the event of a cancellation and I am unable to rebook your day, your 50% retainer will be lost. If I am able to book another wedding, your retainer will be refunded in full.
when will we receive our images?
You will receive your high resolution files within six weeks of your wedding day.
where can we get our photos printed?
You can order professional prints directly through your online gallery. Their shipping is a little expensive, however. If you’d like to order prints locally, London Drugs and Costco are solid options.
