On Sunday, I met with Mel and Jacob for their downtown Vancouver engagement around the West End and Coal Harbour. I always encourage my couples to pick a sentimental location for their engagement session, and Mel and Jacob picked several! We started with a few family portraits with their lovely dog, Comet, outside of their first home together. Afterwards, we stopped by their favourite coffee shop, Greenhorn Espresso Bar, and then went to Barclay Heritage Square, where they got engaged. After a few stops throughout Coal Harbour, we ended our session at Oceanic Plaza, where they’d had one of their first dates.
It was such a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I left feeling like I had learned so much about them and their relationship. I can’t wait for their Heritage Hall wedding in February!
